
Southeast Asian Movie (SEA Movie) is a program created by Center for Southeast Asian Social Studies (CESSAS), Gadjah Mada University. Through film screening and discussion, SEA Movie encourages the audience to understand social problems in Southeast Asia. This year, this program is coming back with theme “Borderless on Screen”. We dedicate this program and theme to showcase short films that brings political, economic, culture, and religion issues in Southeast Asian Region.
The film screening and discussion will be held for two days (Monday, 7th August - Tuesday, 8th August 2017) in Institut Francais Indonesia (IFI) / Lembaga Indonesia Prancis at Sagan, Gondokusuman, Yogyakarta; from 9 a.m. till drop.
My film "Gilingan" will be screen on the second day at 9 a.m. - 10 a.m.
with the other short films from Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.
